So dangerous to casually know a writer. They might use your name to commit atrocities in their book. Naming characters directly after friends is too close, and coming up with names is a hassle... I apologize to my old regular customer who's a sweetheart but I named an antagonist after 😅

Fun fact about my book: I rewrote it 3 times, and a character that only appeared the 3rd time as a result of me liking him from an AU of mine ended up bringing with him a giant plot point and many opportunities for the main ship to get closer

Spent half the day looking at website building sites, only to be mostly disappointed. The options were full of AI, coding, or made my computer crash.

"Why can't I find one like Carrd? I like Carrd," I kept saying.

In the end I realized: just update Carrd and use it as my official author page 😅

That feeling when you make some placeholder names that are only alright and then after a while you're like "fuck, those are their names now" because there's too much association at that point,,,

The rough feeling when you have an entire tragic history for an OC but it's the circumstances of their birth and no one actually tells them about it and there's no way to wiggle it in to the book 😔 I don't need to wait to be interviewed, I'll interview myself and infodump once it's published lol

Finally figured out how to use Instagram in an author way without needing to use pictures! I *knew* most people wouldn't just download a background image, edit with text, then post it as its own thing.. Had to read an article on how to do it on Insta though 😅 social media is not my strongest point
