They've likely been bounced into not paying by a lawyer who has rightly informed them that bribing voters is illegal....

DW from Germany is pretty good! The British press are not worth the paper and bandwidth they're written on.
After my mini outburst earlier, it's actually quite hilarious to see all these different actors (in more ways than one) - media, politicians - attempt to bring Starmer down once again and failing miserably.
There is one simple truth at the heart of this:
They have absolutely nothing on Starmer.
Good question from BBC Nugent. Badenoch collapsed to the atomic level. #UKPolitics
Thank you @csav55.bsky.social :)
What Farage said when Mandelson was appointed
This is what he had to say at the time, why the hell don't the media challenge him about this, oh of course, they'd have to admit they said the same, silly me.
I try not to swear but this is too much.
Farage can fuck right off. Now he says it was pretty obvious Mandelson was the wrong choice. He supported it at the time!!
I also try to avoid "hate"
But I hate hate hate him. With a raw passion.
Ed Davey, Lee Anderson, Zarah Sultana land Kemi Badenoch should be apologising to Keir Starmer today.
They called him a liar in various forms.
@eddavey.libdems.org.uk what is your problem? What do you want? Why do you want an honourable PM with bucket loads of integrity to resign? The evidence is not damning. Show us damning evidence. We all know your own position is rocky. Your own MPs have jitters about you. Sort your own house out.
The reason doesn't matter. The point is it fell. And aforementioned people only talk about it when it rises. When it falls and it is something to welcome we hear nothing. That is opportunism defined.
Average cost of medical treatment in the UK Labour VS Reform
Farage wants to charge to access the NHS & give tax cuts to billionaires.
#NeverVoteReform
Evidence Badeonch is an opportunist, not to mention Farage and @eddavey.libdems.org.uk .
Unemployment unexpectedly falls. Wage growth still above inflation. 0.5% economic growth in Feb.
And silence. Absolute silence.
Realise*
So there's people who want Starmer gone. But then what? What do they want? Will their lives be better?
No of course not.
So their calls are a bandwagon.
Wake up and educate yourselves instead of relying on mass media. Release they have an agenda.
Breaking News: Robbins says Starmer was right to sack Mandelson.
Because the media won't make a deal out of that.
What i can't fathom is why is it okay for Robbins to tell Ministers about clearance concerns sometimes but not others. Mandelson is an exceptional circumstance. Starmer should have been told because the mechanism is there for him to be told.
Robbins hasn't made any notes but has made a lot of assertions.
I have to say, no wonder the Foreign Sec and PM no longer have confidence in him.
What is frightening is the idea Farage becomes PM not because of rigorous debate but a toxic media that gives Farage disproportionate air time. Not too dissimilar to Brexit due to a lazy media existing for social media attention allowing Farage to spout lies and declare victory for his own agenda
When did people decide the Government and PM who aren't fulfilling all their personal wish lists are failing. We have a Government delivering its manifesto at warp speed, targeting the least well off, of course they aren't doing everything we all want, which Government could or will.
It is entirely possible that McSweeney and Mandelson were working together given we know their solid relationship to get him to Washington. That means Starmer genuinely would not be privy. Which is scandalous. He is the PM. And so it is right McSweeney resigned.
Conjecture but not unreasonable.
This morning I’ve seen Olly Robbins’s appearance before the select committee described as ‘box office’, while a commentator flagged up another key political moment with the words ‘bring the popcorn’.
That’s one of our main problems right there.
This whole Robbins account is a waste of time. I'm sorry to say but he's not convincing. The idea that Starmer would lie at any point is for the birds.
Starmer sacked Mandelson in September. Let's not forget that.
Labour MPs need to realise this isn’t about getting rid of Starmer it’s about destabilising the Labour govt and getting rid of all of you .. for Nigel and his mates ! The media have been on overdrive on this since July 24 .. it’s the latest attempt but not the last !
Mandelson should never have happened. It is a mass-media, right-wing driven episode to bring down Labour gov. They can't get enough. It is grotesque & shows the British establishment at its worst
Meanwhile further economic goid news: unemployment falls and wage growth continues to outpace inflation
@lucympowell.bsky.social let us not miss a trick!! It is so obvious. Rejoining isn't just best. It is a political blinder for Labour.
Yeah and why? Brexit was Cameron's way of keeping the Tories together. Farage and Johnson capitalised on it for their own political gain. Selfish selfish selfish. Now Farage wants to be PM. He lied about the merits of Brexit. There never were any. Another eg of the establishment being so messed up
What nauseating faux outrage about Mandelson's appointment from people who at the time were supportive, including Farage. In real life would any of us expect to be held responsible for something we weren't aware of and as it turns out was deliberately kept from us, anyone saying yes is a liar.
