I forgot how exhausting going through a first draft is. The worst part? This book starts with a few chapters that were cut from the original. In other words, I'm not even to the parts that haven't been worked yet lol. #writing #booksky #novels #editing

What book do you want to finish badly but can't get around to it? I really want to finish Marginally Yours by Layla Nox. Something about the quote on the back that said "Let's go piss off a god" drew me in. How about you? #booksky #dnf #reading #books

I'll certainly have to give it a look!
Ill have to look at Magican🤔
Chainfire is the start of such unique concept that I can't help but admire it: what happens if a really prevalent person is just erased from memory. It's super ambitious and the trilogy it starts was a fantastic way to end that amazing story Wizards First Rule started.
I'd thank Mr Goodkind if he was still with us 😭
Tell me your favorite book! Here is mine! #booksky #book #favoritebook #fantasy
Least surprising thing ever lol
What story are you obsessed with that's not a book? I'm embarrassed to say mine but I might tell you if you ask nicely 😉

What is your favorite trope? My is (unfortunately) the chosen one. It's certainly a comfort thing. You know they'll win, but you don't know how! #booksky #trope #prompt #writing #bookish

Why do I write urban fantasy?
Because the world needs magic, desperately. In a way, part of me wants to believe it's out there, staying hidden from us. Why do you love your favorite genre, or write in the genre you write? #booksky #indieauthor #urbanfantasy #favoritegenre #questions #prompt
I do 3D artwork but yeah. It's far easier 🤣🤣
I should probably document the creation of the next book's cover. It's farther along than the editing 🤣🤣
That's great, I'll certainly keep that in mind. Does this include the that goes along with the book as well? This falls in my case mainly because I do my own artwork.
Something about the picture in that book makes it look like there is a small skillet on the book and it looks absolutely delicious!
Oh and thank you!
It's a lot of the algorithm too. BluSky's algorithm seems a lot less heavy handed. It's a lot battling with it on other platforms
I love this 🤣🤣 There is a texts from superheroes, there needs to be a texts from warcraft heroes!
That makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!
That's great! I actually used to do this sort of thing in video a lot called "Walkin' Thoughts" where I would offer some whimsical musing that came to me on daily walks. I stopped doing it because it just wasn't getting traction.
Hey bookish folks. Consider this a survey post. What sort of content do you want to see from authors on social media? Book trailers, except, our opinions, the tropes our books use. Let us know in the comments below so we can communicate better! #books #indieauthor #fiction #booksky #fantasy
