in my experience it suffers from being compressed into 90 minute one-shots. more time or ressources aren't regularly afforded to the topic. imho IL should be taught by the lecturers in their respective fields, integrated into the curriculum. Outsourcing it fully to librarians isn't the way to go.

Bücher sind Gebrauchsgegenstände. Da würde ich mir wenig Sorgen machen. Nur sollte kein Kaffee mehr vom Einband tropfen, das geht dann über das übliche Maß hinaus... und nachweisbares Bekritzeln ist natürlich auch was anderes. Aber wie oft kann man das schon wasserdicht nachweisen.
