A repeating pattern featuring American Robins with orange breasts, some pulling worms from the ground. The birds are surrounded by clusters of Purple Dead-nettle and white drooping Snowbell flowers on a light sage green background.

I couldn't resist creating a new design that captures my favorite early spring moments. I love how this pattern brings together the classic American Robin pulling a worm with some beautiful but understated flowers: Purple Dead-nettle and Snowbells. The whole scene feels like a cheerful garden morn'

Bringing my latest piece, "The Ruby and the Gem," out into the Raleigh sunlight where it belongs. 🍅☀️
I spent so much time on the color theory for this - using a green underpainting to make the reds of the "gem" pop, and finishing the "ruby" with shimmering blue and green paint.

Wait, why is the tomato green? I used a bright green underpainting for the fruit because green is the complementary color to red. By layering my reds over a green base, it gives the tomato a depth and glow that you just can't get by painting red on a white canvas.

A cylindrical duffle bag with a muted green and purple floral pattern sitting on a rustic wooden park bench. The background shows lush green trees and a gravel path.

🌿 I just launched this desaturated "Creeping Charlie" colorway. I wanted something a bit more muted and moody for travel gear and home decor.

I’ve been playing with the colors of my Creeping Charlie design, and I’m really leaning into this desaturated "moody" version. I love how the sage tones make it feel a bit more vintage and grounded www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/1794...

Question: Who else is excited to see the tiny purple pops of Creeping Charlie in their yard? I created this new repeating pattern to capture that fresh, dense groundcover feeling. ✨ Also Redbubble is having a sale! 🌿 #CreepingCharlie

Finished a new 30x30 piece: "The Ruby and the Gem." 🍅🕊️

I’m obsessed with how the negative space turned out. I used modeling paste to create a Venetian plaster wall effect. It gives the background a beautiful, architectural weight that contrasts with the tiny Ruby-throated hummingbird.

Just finished a new study in "Moonlight Blue." 🌙🦋
I’ve been obsessed with how these #Whimsigoth purples and natural oranges play together. This "Moonflower & Nighthawk" pattern started as a series of late-night sketches of nocturnal garden visitors. 🦉✨Support small art: link in my bio!

Post-Valentine’s Day mood: Trading the bright reds for deep, moonlit amethysts.

These moths have been living on my digital canvas for weeks, and I’m so excited to finally let them fly into the world!

I used a large pencil brush and I thought it gave the wings on this Salt Marsh moth that perfect powdery look

Sometimes you just gotta love on your own designs.
I made this pattern with linocut designs in mind. Little did I know a year later I would be into carving and printing my own linocut stamp designs!

An attempt at my icon. I realized too late that I didn't own orange. And forgot to cut the tail out of the blue. Exciting to see what I learn in a year!

Where to people stream their art making, like "draw with me"'s? Where would I post "cut linoprint blocks with me"? Twitch, but is there an art forward alternative?

The guy in reds mid tones are very red as well. The red and black looks good with his hair and suit, but I would try to emphasize those gorgeous eyes
