Attacking civilian infrastructure is barred by the Geneva Conventions, but Trump said he was “not at all” concerned about committing war crimes.

Every single time 🌮
Saw the new Super Mario movie today with the fam. Not as good as the first one but I still enjoyed it. Very much a fan service film that tickles this guy who was raised on the game series.
Honestly... they should totally make him the AG. Maybe we'd get someone better for Utah. Better AG than the SC.
And if you're in #Utah, check to see if your name is on the petition to repeal Prop 4 so that we have the power to votes these 🤡 out!

Great day for a protest ✊ #NoKings
Oh yeah, SD 15 is getting reversed. Mark my words 💪.
On weekdays. The Monday and Tuesday drops are usually small because SLC clerks seem to have other things on their plate on Friday.
Before SB 242 went through? Yes. Everything after that, nope. It's not going to stop signature removals from happening though. Check out the stats at the bottom of burrn.org. I really think there will be enough signatures removed.
LLMs are pretty great at emulating what it sees in the code base. If what it sees are confusing or inconsistent patterns or difficult ways to test or run things, its results are going to be sub-par. DX and code cleanliness still matter.
. @martinfowler.com is pushing out some great content in his Fragments posts. I love this one:
"The Venn Diagram of Developer Experience and Agent Experience is a circle" - @lauratacho.com
This isn't the first time I've heard a sentiment like this.

In honor of Rep. Trevor Lee going 0 and 12 for bills during the 2026 Legislature, I have composed this haiku:
Twelve bills, all dead now
Even your party said no
Ha ha, I can't breathe
We have reached the "We fucking warned you he was going to do this" stage of the Trump presidency.
Agentic engineering is driving the cost of code to zero but the cost of good taste and product sense is going to go sky-high.
UPDATE: The Davis County Clerk says they've finished counting packets and there are enough signatures to put SD7 over the threshold by 48 — AS OF NOW.
There are still removals to be processed and whatever changes come from the secondary review of those rejected signatures.
Rep. Trevor Lee's new bill takes a sledgehammer to daily life for undocumented immigrants in Utah—and anyone who helps them.
HB571 bans "sanctuary" policies and goes after employers, narrows homebuyer aid and restricts banking access.

Element-Scoped View Transitions are gonna be **SO GOOD**
There’s still some details to settle, but the main thing is there: run VTs on a subtree of the DOM, allowing parallel VTs.
And with `view-transition-scope` you can limit the scope of `view-transition-name` values, allowing VTs to be nested.
It's so dumb. It's like, do you even listen to the prophet or read scriptures? They're pretty clear on all this...
Love to see it
Sure you do Trevor
A new Dankmus has been released. It is a good day.

#Github being down every week is meme-worthy at this point. I don't know if it's an AI overuse problem or what, but I can't imagine picking Github for non-OSS projects. They're down all the time and that translates to real costs to dependent businesses.
Glenn Beck teed off on Utah Republican legislators, calling them "hypocrites" for packing the Utah Supreme Court and warning it could be the end of the Republic.

“Software reliability is down across the industry; failure rate is up: and batch size is up.” @lauratacho.com + @nathenharvey.bsky.social
Basically, AI is generating larger changes (batch size) and we know from research (eg DORA) that larger batch size tends to result in exactly this!
