Unbeknownst to me, a mental health services provider in Virginia is giving out copies of EVERYBODY LOSES at a gambling conference.

I'm halfway through Funt's book right now, and it is exceptional. I thought I was essentially reading it just to confirm what I already knew, but there's a ton of stuff that is blowing my mind. Essential reading.

Cosign all of Jonny's writing here, I occasionally cover the sports betting industry and consider myself reasonably well-informed about how it works, and there were several entire chapters in this book where I was just, like, holy shit, I had no idea, man

Grateful for this review of EVERYBODY LOSES by the longtime Nevada bookmaker Robert Walker, who called the book "a mirror the industry doesn't want to look into."
