I haven't done any digital art (or...other art really) in a long time but this popped up in my feed and sounded like a fun project - and I only hear good things about VGen really so maybe I'll get set up there someday to do commissions more frequently!

Hello!! To kick off the Lorwyn release, I'll be doing a blind auction for this process sketch for Dawnhand Eulogist. This is a sketch I did for the final painting to scan and paint over, touched up to make it look nice : ) It is graphite on masonite board.
dunno what it is about it exactly but lined paper frees my brain (either I've conditioned myself to prefer it by doodling in lectures so much during school, or something about the paper being bad for drawing taking away the pressure to draw anything goood?)
right now I am putting off working through my holdups and instead just trying to draw at least one random doodle in ballpoint pen on lined paper everyday

Several thresher sharks(Pelagic thresher - Alopias pelagicus) swim in the dark sea. Some look surprised, while others smile gently. Sparkling bubbles scatter around them. The atmosphere is peaceful and charming.

I will keep it in mind and probably look to see if it goes on sale at some point after release (or if it has a digital release!) - looks like it costs about twice as much here (about $35 USD after conversion) and I just spent m o n e y on writing implements and inks :')
