That's a kit I really fancy building. You'll do a lovely job on it!

A very good read!
Very nice!
And if you want your yellow model to look truly yellow, you basecoat it in pink...
It was fantastic to see that FW-07 at the show!
That's really lovely!
What a lovely scheme!
Such relaxing build! You're going to have a lot of fun!
I hope you enjoy it!
Pity they are not doing any international sales! That looks great...
The books are starting to arrive! I really hope that everyone who's bought a copy enjoys reading it, and that it inspires everyone to build the superb Airfix kit. Have a great day!
Thanks so much for letting me know! I really hope you enjoy your book and good look with your model!
Yes! :)
You can't use Mr.Color Leveling Thinner with water-based acrylics such as GW because it is designed for lacquers. Mixing the two together will result in a sticky substance that will gum out your airbrush and be impossible to spray. You can though, use Tamiya's X-20A acrylic thinner to thin GW...
That's a brilliant build! I love it!
Days don't have to be complex and filled with advanced techniques. Sometimes they are easy and filled with simple ones!

When modern weathered finishes take so long to complete, there's part of me that wonders if an unweathered perfect finish, might be fun once in a while...

Here's my latest model: Kingston House, Totnes in Devon.
Mixing traditional sculpting with 3D design and printing (the latter helped immeasurably by Drewe's Model Page), I was able to create this detailed façade in approximately 1/32 scale.
I hope you like it, as much as my client! :
The exact same colour scheme I modelled for my book. What an incredible photograph!
Dan is at it again, posting some classics on our forums.

It's also slightly misleading as the kit was first released in 1971! Nice work on your build by the way - it's really coming together!
I find pale colour schemes so difficult, I will take darker ones every day of the week...

Such a lovely kit! I hope you are having fun with it!
After a friend passed away I volunteered to complete one of his models...
