I see this as how Roxanne responds to someone demanding justice and angry at her after she has finally forgiven herself for her crimes and tied off all the loose ends she saw.

Her palms are rough, the years of handling weapons and chemicals wearing the softness away. Her fingers are stiff from the way she grips the hits of weapons and necks of bottles. Her fingertips are dry, oils wicked away by tome pages. Despite all of this, her touch is gentle and light.
