Set up a box of water and snacks during the holidays for delivery drivers on the front porch. Saw a squirrel take off this morning with a package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

A woman didn't sing it, Wayne Newton did! And so after almost 40 years I learned Wayne Newton sang "Danke Schone" in Ferris Bueller.

I looked it up & he was known for having a high pitched voice in the 1960s. I decided to listen to another song, and saw his breakthrough song was "Danke Schone" which I knew from from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" sung by some woman. I start it and damn if it is the exact same version from the movie.

Wife gets back from picking up K at school, listening to Xmas music on satellite radio. Informs me she heard a version of "Jingle Bell Rock" that sounded like a woman was covering it, but it was Wayne Newton.
