it's not only the nostalgia. the most appealing part of soaps is that there is no ending, and there's a ton of history to use in storytelling because of that.

Lucky wasn't a perfect character. There's really no such animal in soap land. However, JJ has always had the talent/the chemistry with BH; while Lucky has the legacy/history with Liz to have a great run on #GH

Elizabeth Webber is a more important part of #GH and its history than Lucky Spencer. 28 years of ups and downs with the same actor playing a relatable (in soap terms) character. The writers are treating JJ and Lucky as the star when it’s Elizabeth and Becky the audience has more invested in.

The writers expected us to fall for nostalgia & a handful of flashbacks.
They could have given us a good story of LnL2 rebuilding after they addressed their history, drama & trauma. That was a no brainer, but they chose to stick Lucky with the very unpopular Kristina and keep Liz off screen. #GH

I'm looking forward to Elizabeth and Laura tomorrow. Long history between the characters and it's always just been Genie and Becky. That's what makes it special. #GH

I am home sick with a fever, taking naps, and “watching” the Wheel of Time with the audio description (the feature is terrific). WoT is my comfort show; it helps me regulate and remain sane.
