I did this by hiding the layer thumbnails and creating a layer on top that was the same color as the background, so I would have to guess where the canvas was also. All of Rowan's features are technically visible and near where they should be, but are scattered about the canvas and do not properly relate to each other.

Instead of a yellow beak nose, he has a snout with a yellow line leading to his eyes. His head plumage is replaced with long fur, and a darker line of fur recreates his widow's peak. He wears the same armor as normal, but without the tunic and pants that go underneath. Instead of fully yellow eyes, he has yellow irises and black scleras.
