I quite enjoyed it as a whole. Not without its faults though. I didn't enjoy Gemma's turn as Kate, but I never have, poorly written character (I also didn't need her love story). 5 episodes over 3 Sundays was odd. I too had mates say they were enjoying it while it was on and afterwards.

ESB aroma & flavours for me
Plenty of body, residual sweetness too
Satisfying, balanced and easy to drink

Finally listened to this one, an excellent episode talking about a classic story.
Happy New Year.

Thanks gents. I haven't watched it for a number of years but I have fond memories of this story......
100% and sometimes they are the best finds!
See what you think of the ones I've shared.
I do have others including one or two near the station if you want them.
Ok, you will have some later this evening π
Sadly I didn't go on that one. But I do have a list of bars I previously visited (some are the same).
Happy to share, just let me know.
There does come a time my friend....
Interesting π€
Pumpkin free? Sounds good to me!
Ouch!!!

Hitting it now!
Welcome back! Good to her from you both π. Nice review of the 2 episodes. Both were enjoyable and entertaining, while being strong and distinctly different to each other. I liked it when La'an said "Save The Doctor first", even if unintentional, a nice nod to her one appearance in Doctor Who π
Well, #TDF25 starts tomorrow but itβs bittersweet as itβs the last time on free-to-air TV with the wonderful commentary of @nedboulting.bsky.social & David Millar
Sad times, 40 years of watching & this will be my last π’
Still, Iβve #DrinkTheGradient to look forward to with @mjpo007.bsky.social
Thanks @eoghanwalshbxl.bsky.social for penning this piece about a German inspired brewery in Brussels

@illexplainlater.bsky.social Does your summer hiatus include a beery catch up?
As I've shared on other feeds, I enjoyed the finale, but that was in spite of everything. It had enough moments to carry me through. We definitely did not get enough Ncuti. A reset & a rethink is needed. Good point about the trauma of watching Doctor Who btw, that's me.
Fair to say I enjoyed the finale more than the guys here did, but I can see the flaws that have been pointed out. Some very good points. Ncuti has left too soon for sure. A back to basics, less story arc future would please me.....

Nice!
Recently bought the @elusivebrewing.com birthday box, pretty happy with my choice! π Train beers from St. Pancras to Bruges. The Dystopia being the standout of the four, with Lost City coming in a close second!
However, as ever I enjoy the banter & interaction between the three of you.
Looking forward to the two part finale review.
Well....even by Doc's standards, that felt like overly down on those two stories, especially The Interstellar Contest. I can take or leave Eurovision, but it is a thing, and the story riffed off of that to very good effect. It was a win for me. Also, I don't mind a vengeful Doctor sometimes.
