Yea, well, it’s not like there are many alternative forms of transportation in South Florida. 🚙 🚗 🚙 🚗 🚙 🚗

Do not watch this video. You don’t need to. It’s exactly as described. The most vile, disgusting thing for ANYBODY to post on social media … came from the President of the United States. Condemn this.

But they’ll continue to be tax exempt? I’m confused.

Technicality, but it does still require FAA approval as well as sign off by the company (affiliated with the Trump Organization) that holds the naming rights.

Anybody who knows the downtown Miami skyline knows how skewed the Trump Library rendering is. In reality, the hotel to its left is 49 stories tall and the Waldorf Astoria is going right next to that at 100 stories. None of these projections reflect reality.

The @sun-sentinel.com and @orlandosentinel.com are undertaking a sweeping, join investigation of Florida’s property insurance market, and whether recent attempts at reforms have been effective — or fallen short.

Of course, there is that pesky First Amendment. lt guarantees free speech, which includes the right to not speak. This is the slippery slope of compelled speech.

“Thank you for keeping me apprised”???? That’s something I say to work emails that have absolutely nothing to do with my job but I’m just being nice.

Nothing about this is okay.

The President of the United States is on Fox News right now gabbing about the U.S. attack on Venezuela before addressing the American people.

So the new order of information is: Truth Social → Fox News → the public → Congress, maybe?

The link on the White House site goes to that post. And the president’s first statement was not made directly to the American people who funded the operation but to Fox News’ audience.

Just pointing out that the White House’s announcement that the U.S. launched a huge military attack that ended with the capture of the head of another county was through a post made to the president’s paying members of his own social platform. …

At some places, it’s hard to dispute that. I can tell you that as a news decision-maker at a regional news organization, I have not felt one bit of the pressure you described from above — despite media-hostile state and federal governments. Hopefully it stays that way.

As a member of the media, I can’t say this enough: It’s the media’s job to arm you with information. It’s your job to decide what to do with that information.

Kudos to @orlandosentinel.com for pushing the state of Florida on these records.

The DeSantis administration this year cites “safety issues” as the reason for removing rainbow and other decorative street markings. Their own social media posts contradict those claims — until the posts were deleted.

A Christmas gift for Santa: What you learn as an unlikely first-time St. Nick in South Florida How a Sun Sentinel writer’s random decision to grow a beard for the Florida Panthers led to an anxious debut as Santa Claus — and a lesson: Santa is real.

How a first-ever beard — sprouted as a good luck charm for the Florida Panthers — turned our reporter from a spotlight-shunning, stage-shy wallflower into an improbable Santa Claus.

"The most memorable gift I am likely to receive this Christmas didn’t cost a thing."

I am The Post’s ‘federal government whisperer.’ It’s been brutal. One reporter’s effort to show how Trump was transforming government brought her 1,168 new sources — and nearly broke her.

To those who demand to know — on repeat — “why the media isn’t covering this” or “why reporters aren’t talking about that,” I urge you to read this from @washingtonpost.com’s @hannahnatanson.bsky.social. Reporters like her are heroes.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

The “media” asks questions. They are often not answered or answered with lies. @reallyamerican.bsky.social, perhaps you should speak with the voters.
