I greatly enjoyed seeing people's thoughts about Link from an outside perspective - walking around in his cloak and having people tell me about their encounters with him was super cool.

Lore-wise, it's obvious that this is a new link/Zelda era, since the rifts had been happening in this version of the world since it's creation.

I greatly appreciate the fact that the triforce was brought back, even if it was called "prime energy" for some reason. I've missed that as a driving force in the plot in botw/totk.

I like that it didn't *remove* swordplay completely, but added it in a way that still makes you rely on echoes as the main method of fighting and problem solving.

I love that it's not martial-based gameplay (sword/shield/bow) focused, and you're encouraged to use your creativity to solve problems. I've never seen a playthrough that solved a puzzle the same way.

Making Link into a miniboss three times is also a great move, especially when you don't realize it's an echo you're fighting at first.

EOW is a fantastic game. The concept of playing as Zelda to save Link and then defeat the evil - fantastic! I loved it the whole time.
