Like, one time I saw a small hovercraft on a trailer outside a neighbour's house. I was curious how much a hovercraft costs, so I googled it. Maybe 20 seconds total? I got ads for hovercraft for weeks!
I wish there was a way to tell The Internet that yes, I WAS researching electric vehicles recently, but then I bought one so I don't need to constantly get ads for cars all the time now.

I just got it, so all my knowledge is academic so far. However, it seems that charging it will cost a small fraction of gas.
As for maintenance, my understanding is that because there are fewer moving parts (no oil to change, for example) that it's roughly the same? Time will tell.

In Ontario, mostly nuclear, hydroelectric, wind and solar. There are some NG plants still, making up about 10-12% or so during peak demand. Stopped using coal in 2014 though, which is great.

It was between those two for me. Equinox just felt more comfy to me. It was close though.
Not sure exactly yet, because I only got it yesterday and haven't had to charge it yet. But I roughly calculated that if I charge it at home (Ontario) from empty to 80% it should be about $10-12 bucks? Fast chargers are around $10-30 bucks? Some public chargers are free in my town.

I bought an #EV yesterday. I keep driving past gas stations and temporarily feeling dread from the price of gas, then remember that I never have to buy gas again. I'm going to enjoy feeling smug about it for a while.
