Book nerd problems: I have a moment of sadness every time I start a new book after reading a GOOD book. I'm always convinced the next book will never be as good as the last book. And then when it is, I repeat the cycle with the NEXT book.

I'm in MA and we're in the midst of a polar blast. My oldest kid drives himself and his brother to/from school (35 minutes each way) and like every teenager alive, they hate all outerwear.
I made them put hats, gloves and a blanket in the trunk. JUST IN CASE.
