It’s 2022 and for more than a decade Clackamas County has been represented by Kurt Schrader, the worst Democrat in the House of Representatives. Tired of this, the Clackamas County Democratic Party on whose exec committee I sat, endorses his progressive primary opponent.

Lori Chavez-Deremer is resigning and since I am one of a handful of people directly responsible for setting into motion a series of events that led to her becoming Labor Secretary, I am feeling good about her total collapse and sad flight home to Clackamas County.
