Well, I have a bunch of reference images that I go off of, but a lot of the actual placement and layout in the engine depend on what I feel is right and on overall visual clarity.
I thought I'd wrap up the main Electrical Machinery and Terminal Station by the end of today, but I ended up having to do a lot of texturing by hand for the Electronics stations. Still feel like there's something off tho, what do you guys think?

Spent the last couple of days working on this In-game terminal. It was tricky getting this thing wired for multiplayer, but I loved how it turned out. I especially like the SFX for pressing keys, it's got just the right satisfying feel here :)

Since I last posted the Maw fish a few days ago, I've been really trying to make these guys FEEL like proper predators. Hunting nearby creatures, protecting their territory, going home after the hunt, and waiting for their next snack. Cool stuff!

The submarine interior blockout is to a point where I'm okay leaving it be. Ofc, this is all probably going to change more and more as we work on things, but tomorrow I'll work on making all this actually moveable (submarine steering returns!)
