There is an easy solution for this. Data center, yes but permits granted only if the energy, electricity needs, can be met by the data center itself. Put up a megawatt solar farm, a few Megawatts windmills and a couple GW battery storage (made in America) No grid access. No problem in the desert

We have to stop thinking in terms of the traditional Republican versus traditional Democrat definitions, they are no longer valid. I agree we need to organize around concerns we all have and drop the old symbols. Everyone is sick of the grift, the cruelty, the selfishness of the morbidly wealthy.
