So, uh, I haven't been active on BlueSky since about August. Here's what I have been up to since then:

More photos of Clara Luper Plaza. (Sorry to the one guy who wandered into my photo.)
Hi! I'm terrible at social media. I submitted about a dozen and a half photos of Clara Luper Plaza for this piece in UMAmi but you can't really see any of them. Here are some:
A desktop/tabletop with several green plants upon it is strewn with several issues of the February 2026 UMAmi, the Oklahoma Underground Music Archive's monthly zine. The zine is available at (Oklahoma County) Metropolitan Library System locations and various alternative establishments such as independent book, music, skate, and vintage stores and coffeehouses around the metro. It always features a monthly music show calendar and several usually music or alt lifestyle articles, as well as occasional community messages. It, and back issues, can also be found online.
In this month's UMAmi, @grannyanarchy.bsky.social wrote abt Clara Luper, organizer of the 1st civil rights sit-in 2 yrs before Greensboro, NC.
In 1958, Clara Luper led her children & students to Katz Drug Store in downtown OKC; part of a lifelong dedication to civil rights.
Print issues out now!
Guess WHUT Earthlings.
Granny is going to have a li'l something for you in the next UMAmi!
Look for it at the end/beginning of the month!
Still on summer hiatus so no Aug AnGrr! but nice to see latest issue of UMAmi in print & online! Ol' Granny should have something in Sept issue too. Then hopefully I can get back to some solo stuff as well.
Also planning AltFest for Oct 11. Battle of Bands, creative corner, Monster Parade!
A small stack of August issue UMAmi alternative music & lifestyle Oklahoma Underground Music Archive zines with one open to display content featuring a photo essay by Granny Anarchy

take a look at "Happy Holidays: A Pocket-Sized History of Pride" and, perhaps today's explanation of American Indian Citizenship Day.
Why is Granny telling you about all of these odd June days, weeks, & month-long observances?
Because in 2025, it seems somewhat ironic that they're on crazy calendars.
Granny doesn't have time, money, or other resources to educate you about 'em all, but in the June issue of AnGrr!...
Cataract Awareness Month
Nat'l Cancer From the Sun Month
Nat'l Migraine & Headache Awareness Month
Pharmacists Declare War on Alcoholism Month
as well as food months. Examples:
Nat'l Dairy Month

Help.
After wasting HOURS and π΅ I didn't really have on only a few zines (no mini issue 2, need lots of Punk - very popular!) thought I'd set up Paypal? Patreon? A way to get tips? Can't sustain.
My sekrit name addy won't let me sign up for shit. (Secure/spam.) Don't wanna use other email. AUGH!
A lot of frustration today despite some success.
Tried to Be Ethical & copyshop print my perzines (so expensive!) Cheapest I could do was $0.50/page @ library. Each side = 1 page. Made mistakes, cost a lot in ACK BAD PRINT JOB & CRAP BAD PAGINATION.
Out 70.00. Not many zines for Fest in June.
Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA
NO IDEA
Thank you UMAmi team for helping me & @angrrychair.bsky.social w/ this ish!

Assorted zines and stickers in an ARTFULLY ARRANGED scattering on a table. The zines are small folded titles such as "Make a Zine" though there is one special performance zine from No Moore. There is a sticker from Oklahoma Music Archive and there are some fun DVD movie spine labels such as "this movie is terrible" with a confounded raccoon on it.
Some of the other zines (and stickers) at Library Out Loud last nite πΆπ°β¨π£οΈπ§πππΆ
I am completely out of "Punk is Protest" & will have to (personally) print more. Very popular!
I also only (personally) printed 10 copies of AnGrr! so hellooo copy shop by my fave cafe.
And I noticed AFTER I shook hands w everybody that MY FLY WAS 1/2 DOWN. GRANNY IS ALWAYS SUAVE & ELEGANT! π©πΌβπ€π©²πΆ

Met some cool musicians & zinesters - passed out some copies of my work, incl V1I1 of AnGrr, my new perzine. Even met a fan! (Hi, C!)
Super enjoyed expanding my horizons. Would definitely do it again.
Paper in front of a computer screen. Both read "Your Heart Is a Muscle: A History of Folk and Punk."
Sneak peek into my writing process!
I've been wrestling with an article for UMAmi for a while. Printed out a rough draft, messed with it a bit, finally submitted a cohesive piece today. It will be in the next ish (June 2025) & I think there will be more collaborative work to go with it!
