P.S. I see that GB3SP is C4FM capable... do you have a Fusion radio and, if so, is GB3SP connected to the Internet and the WIRESX network?
What a huge and beautiful garden. You need some sheep in there so you can just continuously sample beer and talk on the radio ๐ป ๐
A fellow Echelford ARS club member, Jonathan Ratty G5LUX, passed away suddenly just over two years ago. He was only 58. I recently found a recording of him taking part in our club's Sunday evening 2m net, dated 22 December 2022 youtu.be/I0I_KYQMLVk?... R.I.P. G5LUX SK
A previously undiscovered track, recorded by Dan Hartman around 1985/86, which was recently unearthed by Linda Custis Anton who played congas/percussion on the track. Linda recalls that bass was played by TM Stevens. Written by Dan Hartman and Charlie Midnight. youtu.be/y-9XUedy8yM?...
Absolutely ridiculous and short sighted.

This month's #practicalwirelessmagazine has landed #hamradio #amateurradio- it's started to look rather generic again...and, with the usual suspects populating the letters page. Yawn.

Well, you did a great job. It takes a lot of effort and organising. Hopefully, next time, the WX and band conditions will be better ๐
Congratulations! I listened out on the bands for you but, unfortunately, conditions were dreadful. You got out there and took part, that's commendable. ๐๐ช

Great to take part in last night's RSGB 80M CC #CW contest, I managed to get 51 contacts in the log. My headcopy is gradually improving. @icom-uk.bsky.social #ic7610 #amateurradio #hamradio Nice to see that Echelford ARS are holding on to 3rd place in the General Clubs ranking.
Ready for the oof. Quick breakfast and away! I'll have to watch for thunderstorms around midday. 30ft of metal in the air in the middle of a field what could go wrong. I expect to start out on 40M SSB at around 10am then progress as the bands indicate. Please listen out. Tally Ho
Good luck!
Reminder: AOTA this weekend MW6HED from Carew Cheriton.

Well spotted!
Yours truly, 45 years ago, in the tiny radio studio in Church Street, Weybridge. I'm pleased to say that I'm still on the radio after all these years, with The Friday FiXXX, 10pm til Midnight, on the awesome @a1radio.bsky.social - A1radio.co.uk
Now you're talking!! ๐๐๐
Did you add any coke to that?

Hahaha ๐
Is that a euphemism?
...and then discover that they are the new neighbours who have just moved in...?
It's 21C outside and sunny. My rabbit passed away 4 years ago. I think the risk is probably fairly low. The guy left my package on the doorstep and walked calmy away... unscathed.
