I intend this to be a growing collection of plant videos too by the way. So if you need 4K stock footage of flowers and plants of any kind, you know where to find some!

Since I'm back in Germany it is time to reprise some productions again and work on new videos, but I have a little side project to share too! There is way too little Royalty Free and free to download clips in 4K, so I decided to do some work on that end
'iran gets everything it wants, the US hands over a bunch of money and fucks off' are very good terms for both iran and the united states, but there's no way israel will accept it
We need to take away his Fifa Peace Prize
FCC public notice from March 23, 2026
Great news, America! 🥳
If your router is authorized for use in the USA, the FCC (run by Project 2025 co-author Brendan Carr) will generously allow you to receive security-related firmware updates for another 11 months.
Insane shot
Then they came for the ethnic minorities.
And I danced in a frog suit,
Because I am not an ethnic minority.
I appreciate the recommendation! We actually come to Ostuni regularly, at least once a year for family and doing work around the country side, so we know our way around luckily! Ceglie I feel like is great for food, many good pastries and great restaurants :)
Yeah the prices on the highway were bad, although much better than in germany where the price mostly sits at around 2,20. We tank Diesel, thank you for the recommendation!
Some quick Houdini practice since I haven't used it in years, featuring a bit of crude sound design as well :D
I forgot to mention, we refueled from half a tank at the cheapest prices we could find. First time for 2,12€ per litre, the second time at around 2,07€. If you wondered why literally everything is more expensive in the grocery store lately, that is why!
Aside from Europe being a demonic empire of its own, it would be nice if we stopped facilitating the crimes of an even worse one. Just sayin
Shoutouts to Iran BTW, we evidently had it coming for supporting this empire all this time. If anything, I hope that this is going to be one of the many nails in the coffin for the relationship of the US and Europe.
Man its so cool that America was made great again, so they could make victims of their empire like Iran great again, so that they could make everyone's time great again with these fuckass incremental price hikes.
Having almost arrived at our destination, Ostuni in Italy, after a 17 hour or so journey, I cannot express enough just how fucked the fuel prices are. We refueled twice, both times paying around 100€.
This undeniably is a step towards a wider range of legislation which will inevitably accelerate The Death of Computing for the little man and woman and that make the internet much worse than it already is. Even with the developers trying their best to not make these implementations a privacy risk
Reading it up a bit on itsfoss though I would like to add a silver lining to this situation: The age verification regulation, doesnt actually mandate developers to implement proper verification, rather that one can just add whatever date they want during setup or in an etc file and call it a day
Priority number one definitely should be the actual lawmakers here. They genuinely should get the hate for this idea and in regions such as Europe where privacy and digital rights are in peril big time we got to stay vigilant to not get fucked like the yanks were. We are very close though.
This is a bit of a pickle! Either you abide by the regulation and lose goodwill from your users, or you actively go against the regulation and risk losing any semblance of mainstream momentum in the process. Im glad I dont have to make these decisions!
But lets be real; Not every Linux distribution is run by privacy hardliners or is targeted at them. Limiting sales of computers for System76 as an example would obviously hurt their bottom line and Linux is further erased as a preinstalled option for prebuilts
System76 as an example sells prebuilt Linux computers running Pop!_OS and thus are pressured more than other entities to abide by the age verification requirement. Other developers, like of GrapheneOS go take that radical step of refusing sale outright which is commendable
The reality for many of these groups and companies though is that if they do not follow the rules, they will likely have to face some kind of legal consequences if based in the United States or will at least have the reach of their software limited
While it is frustrating to see companies cave to these regulations, they are most definitely not an enemy but also victims of "over legislation", lets say. I bet companies such as System76 or the Ubuntu maintainers have a hundred better things to do than adding age verification at the OS level
israel and the US betrayed iran in the middle of diplomatic talks and sneak attacked their government without declaring war, and iran... did exactly what they've been saying they'll do if attacked. & this comes as a surprise apparently
Who could have guessed that killing a countries leader for no good reason could result in the us finding themselves in a war... Hilarious
We are driving to italy for some weeks by car and it is incredible by how much Diesel prices have risen due to the unnecessary war with Iran. Some gas stations on the Autobahn sell Diesel for 2,70€ per litre! I really wonder how the prices will look like in Austria and Italy.
I would be very concerned about buying a US made router, especially if I were a US citizen, so if you have to buy a new one consult used markets first or look into building your own router using open source software, like OpenWrt, pfSense/OpenSense or something like VyOS for an enterprise solution.
If we look at the Tik Tok ban, which very quickly turned into a Tik Tok purchase as an example, we can how that turned out for the platform. More people alleged not being able to send certain messages or even that certain anti-gov videos were made to abruptly freeze upon trying to view them. (cont.)
In a way this is just another symptom for The Death of Computing, and funnily enough it also is a showcase of how fallacious the idea of a "free and open market" really is. (cont.)
