→自然因果律や機能主義的合理性に貫徹された領野と、言語的な間主観性が織りなす領野、そして、実証主義的な自然科学と、反実証主義的な人文科学、さらには非人間主体（動物）と人間主体、あるいは非言語的無意識と言語媒介的意識、などの二元論の構図（カント的な図式）である。

人間主体を自然（動物）よりも上位に位置づけたことは、人間主体の「尊厳」を購入するために彼が支払った代償であり、喜んで支払った――その結果、グローバル・サウスをほとんど無視し、ポストコロニアル闘争や地球規模の生態学的危機、そして大規模な歴史的後退の可能性といった、こんにち的課題に対応できなくなった。
