Every CityLit Fest is an incredible. This one was special. It's the first time #AdrianMatejka & I met in person after following each other on social media for years! And what a cool brotha! Great energy. An amazing reading.
Grateful to CityLit Project for another opportunity to record the festival!

This past weekend, my wife and I flew out to Colorado. I'm sharing some of my favorite photos from that trip.
Something told me to take the shot.
After the snow, I headed out with my Fujifilm and adapted Canon lenses. Here's what I got during my #shuttertherapy.

Is a $70 pro camera still worth it in 2026? 📸
I’m diving into why I’m still shooting w the Nikon D200. Between that legendary CCD sensor & a build that feels like a custom power tool, it delivers a film-like look you just can’t find in modern gear.

Oh, it's just me and my wife doing a victory dance! We successfully hosted over 50 people in our home to celebrate Jaz turning 10. Exhausted, but our hearts are so full.
New gear: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II is in the bag! It's replacing the E-M5 II as my primary hybrid YouTube camera (video/stills). Both will alternate for photography. Detailing why the E-M1 II is better for my most demanding camera work. youtu.be/gAcsA1rpcik
I'm impressed! Spider-Man managed to lift me over his shoulder. A friend mentioned she saw his legs buckle. This was risky. I doubt he has insurance in that line of work. While my wife took several photos, I kept praying, "Lord, don't let him drop me." A brotha was ready to tuck and roll.
I have my family with me at the Chautauqua Institution. My heart was so full when Jaz saw the brochure and said, "That's Daddy!" #blacksky #poetry #wroting #chautauqua
This National Women's Day, I'm sharing the trailer for my documentary on Jennifer L. Nelson. If you've never heard of this theater legend, that's all the more reason to watch this, then check out the full doc and learn about her work. #WomensDay2025 youtu.be/MF8uMx14Wjo

In Feb., I shared the 1st part of a multi-series project with my friend Tracie, "Threshold of Fear." She overcame her fear threshold & wanted to help others. Here's part 2, titled Catalyst. Tracie wrote & narrated this video, which I created using various AI tools.

Table for one.
I have a new video up on my YouTube channel about how a 10-year-old camera accidentally became the hybrid camera I've been looking for. If you're interested, click the preview below to watch the video. youtu.be/U79cTRWtWHM
Jade Rose was excited for her school's Letter People Parade. Initially eager to be letter S, she got shy seeing the crowd of parents waiting. Like her mom, she doesn't love the spotlight, but she pushed through and completed the parade successfully! #blacksky
