Here's a nice sample of some of what happened in Hamilton in 2015 the last time Canada Post tried to take away door to door. Residents took matters into their own hands, camping out to prevent installation of boxes. The city of Hamilton sued Canada Post after presentations by CUPW Hamilton.

- $1 billion bailout that coincided with Canada Post using that money to buy Purolator an international logistics firm

CUPW steward here. The "losses":
- $400+ million dollar Albert Jackson package facility, currently running at %20 thanks to parcels being funneled to Purolator during our negotiations.
- Tens of millions in lost pay equity lawsuit grievances from CPC screwing with workers' pay

Agreed! I only found out when I started learning a few years ago. I think the important thing to help folks keep focus on is that this isn't a uniquely Trump thing, or an if only Obama/Carter thing (they were both horrible people). We've gotta keep folks focused as they progress on their journeys
