Watching this rather good documentary about #PaulineBoty. Sixties #popart isn't really for me, but I've always thought of Boty as the cleverest, most original of artists.
Such a loss for British art.

A day in the life..

Bowie myth-making: most of his schools were not in Brixton but Bromley. He "studied Art" at school, along with maths and English; he didn't go to art college. And I'm not sure many of his songs were written on beaches, which are in short supply in Beckenham.

There was a nice doc about the great Pauline Boty last night on BBC4. Here's a little tribute I wrote for Pauline, which came out last year on this cool LP.

This documentary is a great watch, Pauline Boty was a pioneer of Pop Art in the Uk but died tragically young.

I Am The Sixties is a wonderful documentary, I wish Pauline Boty had lived longer and been celebrated more in her lifetime
