Last week I met with @lobularbcuk.bsky.social & learned that Lobular Breast Cancer is the second most common breast cancer, yet many have never heard of it. It grows more like a spider’s web, making it hard to detect. You can download LBCUK's leaflet here: lobularbreastcancer.org.uk/wp-content/u...
Culture House opened last May in Hammersmith. It shares the stories of the British Somali community & aims to create a platform for cultural exchange & understanding. Brilliant news that it now has funding from the Loved and Wanted Community Fund. culturehouse.org.uk

Thousands of homes have been hit by water supply issues, I raised this with the Minister today. Last night's burst water main and hundreds of smaller bursts in the recent cold weather are the legacy of Thames Water’s failure over not years but decades.

There has been a major disruption to water supply in west London due to a burst water pipe. You can see updates from Thames Water below but please be assured I am following up with them directly.

Evidence suggests civil & family legal aid in particular are in a dire position. There have been increases in housing & immigration fees, but I asked the Secretary of State what plans he has to review legal aid fees, particularly in civil & family law.

The wet wipes cleared from 'Wet Wipe Island' in the Thames by Hammersmith show the scale of the issue of wet wipes polluting our rivers. We're banning plastic in wet wipes which is a huge win for our rivers, ocean and wildlife!
