First of two: I am excited to have had the chance to share our findings about the role of the dentate gyrus and acetylcholine in Alzheimer’s disease with the outstanding neuroscientists at the University of California Irvine Center for Learning and Memory led by the superb Mike Yassa.

I am excited to share pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40632653/. It shows that hormones regulate hippocampal sharp-wave ripples (SPW-Rs). 1) Removing gonads decreases SPW-Rs. Hormone replacement led to recovery. 2) SPW-Rs show sex differences. And there is more! Huge thanks to all authors!
