This new artbook collects all my fantasy work from the past six years! It would mean a lot if you checked it out!
What it IS, however, is a fun dance-pop album, and a probably more effective one than, well, "Let's Dance". At least it will be to you if you have an affection for that late 90s electronica style. It might not have the monster hits of the former, but you get "Dead Man Walking" instead, so there.
"Earthling" (1997) - The one on which he stares at the Windows XP image 5 years early. Its reputation keeps bouncing all over the place, usually based on whether drum'n bass music is back in fashion or not, even though there actually aren't that many songs in that style on it.
The icon and the legend himself has finally found a home in my house, thank you @kaorugreendrake.bsky.social
Remembering Michael Hurley, aka Snock, through his art
Finally did the thing after work, where I stepped on the wrong train to end up at the airport, so I could work out a complicated route spreading all over the city to get home.
But: I did get home. After all. Somehow. I mean, okay, 2 hours later than usual, but hey, I MADE IT.
Look at that handsome fox!
Aiieeeee, happy birthdaying! =)
Streaming the new hoard claims (as well as some old ones, probably) while doing some comic work!

I usually don't see the point with releases like these of stories that exist "in the flesh", but after having listened to my DMP set again recently, I figure I'll have a neat afternoon tea time with it later regardless. ☕️🍪 Looking forward to the interview section at the end!
It is indeed, and I picked up the only copy the store had.
Anyway, settled on these hoard additions!
I have him a stare that should trouble him in his sleep tonight.
They had ONE copy of it, and just as I found it some arse (who already had like 20 other records under his arm) picked it away from under my nose and wouldn't part with it. And I'm actually kinda cross now. Not so much that I couldn't get it, but at HIM. What a greffer. 😤
i never even considered gay faglie could be a woman. maybe i'm a bad person
*is eyeing the Bis retrospective in particular*
I'm rarely one for Record Store Day, but this time there are a handful of Nice To Haves on the list. Hm, hm. I'll see.
The next doorstopper from my shelves to work off! Gasoline Alley Hour Zero!
Yeah, overall I'd call it his least interesting/most skippable album. It's the one I'm getting the least out of.
And the comment section is EXACTLY what one would expect. 😏🦊
Space roos!
So, technically, I'm now through with the set. However, "Wuthering Heights" was a DNF and I couldn't get a handle on it when I tried the other year. However, I was expecting something else and I was reading it wrong, I figure. So I'll give it another chance some time. (But not right now.)
And done! Alright, it might not have blown me away as much as "Jane Eyre" did, but it was indeed pretty awesome. Doesn't deserve the overlooked status it has, but I suppose this is because it's the hardest book to adapt for film out of the main Brontës. There's only like two, and only for TV.
Back home from work at last, feeling properly mondayed.
ORBÁN CONCEDED
Sorry for essay-posting. lol But I had this on my mind since yesterday, and here it was, the opportunity to put and store these thoughts somewhere. 😉
Nevertheless though, as irrational as this looks to us, looking at it from a late-teen perspective, I get where this emotionally comes from.
...while others had to wait up to a year to catch the German dub on TV. And that show too had that relatability thing going on, even though I'd say that Circus is more like this generation's NGE than Buffy.
Having been around in the Buffy fandom in the early 00s (when I was so much younger myself), I remember what these dynamics were like, when here in Germany some people were able to watch episodes early thanks to a good internet connection and language skills...
