Hard truth:
Loyalty won't pay the billsπ₯Ί
- Companies are loyal to profits, not people. Look out for yourself first!

- Go to system settings and decide exactly which push notifications you want to receive (same effect as β)
If it's not a "Hell yes!" It's a "No".
π― Pro tip to minimize SoMe addiction π
Change the notification sound on the various social media's (this reduces the addictive psychological phenomenon of 'intermediate variable reward')

Decarbonising should be an investment by the oil companies, just like (or rather instead of) building a new oil rig.
It costs money now, but will make money later. It's that simple.

Aesthetics matter, so make sure your setup is engaging and interesting enough to encourage visitors to share photos and videos for maximum UGC.πΈ
Ever heard of 'intermittent variable reward'?
It's the reason why we get addicted to social media.
We keep checking and scrolling, because something great might be right around the corner.

Fun fact: Google ads are 34% bigger today (2024) compared to 2021, and now completely fills the screen above the fold on mobile.

Is it just me, or is this platform missing a "save" function?
It's called PIF - Pay It Forward
In short, it's a marketplace app, where companies can sell their products as digital giftcards. The users can buy these and send to each other. The recipient can then pick up the product by redeeming the giftcard in shop.

Would you use an app that allows you to send digital giftcards to anyone in the world?
So you could send a gift card for a beer at the local pub to your friend, or send gift card for a Coke/Pepsi at 7-11 to your buddy out travelling.
Let me know in the commentsπ

So that's a tough one.
Most users become inactive, if there are no sales% in the app.
Lifetime revenue is near zero in most cases.
But I argue that we need to invest in gaining a user base. It's a new concept and we need users on board to learn the app in order to grow.
Same!
Well, somebody's got a ghost writer for their tweets...
I don't think you can broaden anyone's horizon, unless they want it broadened... but what do I know π¬
It's an interesting take though.π€
A platform full of like minded people isn't gonna broaden cultural- or social horizons.
Biggest problem for these SoMe platforms is peoples ability (or lack therof) to respect and behave in a civilised manner. π

I need your help to settle a argument with my boss!
After executing a small influencer campaign where a limited amount of products in our startup-app was on sale, we got the results belowπ
I thought it was a succes because of the active users we got, he disagrees because we lost money.
