Someone asked me about running during a time when the President of the US suggested hanging Democrats.
Sad to say, not the first time I've had my life threatened for serving.
It's because of that, not in spite of, that we need leaders MORE THAN EVER with the courage to stand up and in front.
1) We can't take elections for granted even with a lead.
2) Thorough vetting of candidates and choosing ones with records of their values, like Tim had.
3) Always be ready to counterpunch.
4) Knock, walk, and phonebank.
5) Don't let it go. She betrayed folks. Write CADEM — make it a priority race.
Democrats received lots of negative mail pieces funded by special interests against her opponent. It split enough to turn a non-campaign into a winning one. What can we do? (Part 1)

When you donate to food banks, double check what they need and check expiration date. A lot of them need perishables because they're, well, perishable.

The idea that tariffs do not increase prices, but cutting tariffs on some groceries will lower prices, is wild mental gymnastics. Don't believe the rhetoric. Believe the prices at the grocery store.
No ifs ands or buts about it — the FAIR Plan for fire insurance is fundamentally broken and unFAIR. We need to address fire risk, insurance markets, and climate resiliency for communities like ours, not on the backs of them.
