This one also has all the answers. But it doesn't really show you how to do things, just tells you about them. Say for recipes. So the discovery is in enacting and experimenting with the instructions! These are the things I communicate to my friends in-game. It keeps me in-game engaging! (mostly)
Minecraft used to be a mechanical narrative; its structure was its mystery spread by word of mouth. But in later years, a handbook was added, largely removing what YouTube and wikis had already taken from this element of play.
VS, on the other hand, also has a handbook!
Very fair! I don't think its the dev's fault for what it became, I am personally very opposed to blaming the dev when the game is owned by Microsoft.
Tho there are solutions to these problems, cause tbf I believe VS has been in development for a decade now? I think the handbook is a great example:
I feel VS chooses you, not you who chooses it lol. I agree tho, VS has a lot of subtle design that, let's be frank, Minecraft has lost over the years that make it, imo as a whole, a far stronger experience.

My Dungeons and Dragons character from The Delver's Guide to Beastworld setting, a setting written by Heartleaf Games. Eiji Sato, a human samurai now left as a female fox after a brush with the God of Gambling, sits in a room recovering after a fight. He is wrapped in bandages and cleaning blood off of his sword. He was deep in solemn thought until he was disturbed by someone opening the door. Mini story below ------------------------------------------ "Why?" The question circled in his head. "Why did you go in there? Why did you risk yourself just to save them? You could've died!" His eyes stayed on the blade, delicately wiping away the blood from the recent delve. Bandages wound tightly around his chest, the gentle yet searing sting ever present with each breath in. The voices grew louder. "Yet you went in. You know you can't. You know you're too weak." He grimaced at the pain in his side, the soft splat of blood hitting the floor below filling the dark room. "Maybe you should've died in there. It'd at least make up for all you've done. All the pain, the suffering, the-" His eyes turned as the door beside him creaked open, the light from the hall lighting him like a spotlight. His face was sullen, tired.
