Discord's move to age verification is a data harvesting scam. There is no reason anyone should have to de-anonymize because people aren't monitoring their kids. It's not the job of tech to watch them instead. The internet has not historically worked this way and this decision is not to be trusted.

An unfortunate time delay caused both the choccy treat and the tea to arrive later than expected. The apron'd Hrothgar apologises humbly, and wishes his guests an enjoyable stay regardless.

Despite the inconvenience, the academicians were delighted by not only the culinary nibbles they enjoyed some time ago, but also by the service! They may both never remember their leonine server's visage, yet their stay remained a pleasant one that could very well have made their day.

Day 2: Legacy

We think of Legacy as a grand remnant of our very existence. And yet I'd ask you to ponder the smaller 'legacies' you're leaving every day. The small nothings invoking joyful 'somethings', however long.

The last three years have been very eye-opening to me in terms of self-discovery and -acceptance. Thinking on that, I'm in awe of how many people were involved in shaping me who I am today, actively or in the background.

I'm a gay furry, and proud of it.

Both of those are integral to who I am.

Day 1: Greetings

There's many ways to make yourself known, but most of them start with a "heyho", "ohokaliy", "greetings", "lahee" or even "meowdy". Rare is a message as powerful as pushing up your glasses, however. Silent and immediate in establishing oneself.

It's getting more and more common unfortunately, while looking for unis myself I saw a couple that supported "AI" usage, and that was a good year ago.

I hate overhearing customers at work sometimes.
This comes from a place of privilege, but hearing everything that's happening over there being discussed here is... Unsettling. I kept a certain distance through online interactions, but seeing my fears discussed irl is a whole different matter.

I usually don't keep up with the Emmys, but I'm so glad Andor got one for one of its tightest episodes. Such a relevant and extremely well-made show I don't get tired of praising from a very unsuspecting place. I sincerely wish more people gave it a go, in spite of the franchise it belongs to.

It's these kinds of stories that resonate and inspire me to live, yet too many people are all too happy to discard it in the name of convenience and pettiness. So many stories have touched my heart, and it's a tragedy we're spearheaded towards an environment considering that a bug, not THE feature.
