oh also thumbnailing is really helpful

there's no like, magic trick that will make you become good at it but there was a video i watched that talked about how objects rotate in 2 or 3 point perspective and that did help somewhat

just consistent practice (even if its just doodles) makes a difference

idk if i'd call myself really good but i've improved immensely over the course of a year on perspective which used to be one of my weakest fundamentals

its as simple as just practicing. Nothing crazy just doodling cubes and 2 point perspective

i got into object shows a little over a year ago

because i wanted to be cool and not draw fanart in asset style, i drew the characters in 3d shapes which inadvertently caused me to improve at perspective. learning how to draw basic shapes in 3d also improved my anatomy

well, let me be clear--it was specifically 10 hours over the course of two weeks. plus, it took me time to get to a point in my skill where it WOULDN'T take two years

do not feel hopeless! working on your fundamentals will improve your art faster even if your style isn't realistic :]
