Baffles me how it needed to go to VAR. Could see it was ower the line in real time.

The gyamfi one I can 100% see why it's a red. But when you slow it right down, to me, it looks like he's tried to shove him, but his hands have slid up his back and it looks like a punch/slap to the back of the napper.

Wouldn't have griped at a red, but can also understand the yellow card logic.

3 VAR checks in our favour. Dundee miss a 97th min penalty. And the rest of the results favour us massively.

Better play the lottery.

Massive.

Alexa... play joy division.

Normally wouldn't be so delighted at beating 10 men, but fuck me, we needed that rub of the green.

Take everything we can get at this point.

Players looked more up for it, so credit to them and Robinson for that.

Pass marks for all. Well done.

As will I be, when I can. It just grips ma shite paying for a season ticket when I don't even stay in the country. Let alone paying for one to watch them in the championship.

My AberDNA wasn't renewed. Fuck that. They have some balls. To even call up and ask.

Not even willing to pay championship prices at this point. I'd rather have my money back.

Is that legal language enough for a refund?

Clach would fucking scud us.

There is no solution to this. It's relegation. Our time has come.

Sack the board, sack every single fucking player.

I'm done.

Gutted. Really thought we could use his experience to pull us out the myre. But he goes with every best wish. Absolute psycho.

And he'll never come aff my wall.

At least in his interview he's said he will play attacking exciting fitba. Nae hoofball. His ain words.

Dina ken fit we're ah worried aboot.

👀

The thing is, going by his first interview he's clearly stated his playing style come next season. Now its about winning games, but after the summer, and in his own words, it will be:

"High energy, pressing, attacking, exciting football"

Is he capable of that. Proof is in the pudding as always.

Here here.

And so it begins...

Having watched his 1st interview, I will judge him on his 2 phase plan:

Results between now and the end of the season.
The style of football he's described for after the summer. (Attacking/exciting/pressing/energetic/not long ball)

Through gritted teeth: welcome aboard.

I genuinely fucking hate being an Aberdeen fan right now. Just make it stop please.

Hoping I'll wake up tomorrow and it'll all have been a horrible dream and I don't actually have to support a Hoofball 2.0 team managed by Stephen Robinson.

6) Have a plan before deciding to sack the last permanent manager

Or 3.1) literally anybody else that matches our so called philosophy of anti-hoofball.

Time to change the footballing philosophy document then Lutz and Davey. Because this flies in the face of everything we've been told we want going forward.

He'll get my backing regardless, but this is Goodwin 2.0.

I genuinely give up with this hierarchy.

Aye, 100%. Just pick a method and stick with it.

Difficult to quantify regarding De Almeida really. Could argue he had success previously, but that evidently didn't translate to our league, IF he was having the final say in how we go about it all, of course...

Complete headfuck tbh.

The lads better check their DMs after that episode 🤣

Top down meaning the strategy that Lutz announced on arrival: that the philosophy remains "x, y or z" so that the recruitment is aligned regardless of the manager in place. Essentially, any new manager will have very little input into what's bought.

Mowbray was a success before, here's hoping again

I'd argue that Knoester has had an impact. We look a much safer team with him at the back, but for the rest, you are spot on.

Mowbray has a massive challenge, but I can't see how he can succeed without a manager in place that's clear on what he wants, or a top down recruitment strategy in place.

Agree to an extent. But it all starts at the top. You don't get weak as piss recruitment if the people determining who should be doing the recruitment make the right decisions. There doesn't seem to be any cohesional approach to what our "philosophy" is. That should determine everything else.
