It’s been a couple of years since I’ve had time for hobbies.
This winter break I started modeling a Porsche 911 992 using @getPlasticity!
It’s been so much fun learning how to model complex shapes with surfaces & nurbs.
Hoping I can do more car & product design in the future :)

ABC always be creating :)
Thanks! Doing way better these days. 🙏🏽
Designed & prototyped this Sakura 🌺 Coaster (brass) in my studio over the past week!
Learned a lot about designing for manufacturing & how to generate efficient tool paths.
I’m still not great, but learning and super excited to keep going. 🙃🙂🙃

Can’t speak on apple’s behalf, but on a personal front, try to explain the usage with the right plist key (if there is one) and hopefully that can get it thru the App Store review process.
Thank you Patrik! Was so fun to design and magical to see it come to life in my little studio
Thanks Lydia! Excited for you too 🤗🙏🏽
My ethos used to be do hard things. My last project was the hardest thing I could accomplish by myself & it wasn’t successful and lead to a lot of burnout, isolation and stress.
I’m gonna try to flow with life and do things that are more fun, creative and less ridiculously hard / isolating.

I’ve been coding for almost 20 years. I started because I love exploring new ideas… But coding changes the way my brain works after long sessions / sprints / seasons.
It’s been hard for me to connect with people and feel emotions or get excited about anything. Maybe this is burn out or anhedonia.
Also, I’ve been feeling kinda meh about coding and at the same time thinking that in the future ideas, creativity, taste and human connection will be more important knowing how to code.
If someone can vibe code an entire app/game/etc the value isn’t in the code, it’s in the ideas, innovation, etc
Well, it was mainly because all the code I had on GitHub was almost a decade old and it’s not a good reflection of me now.
I’m also done with generative design / creative coding. I’m more interested in design and product now.
Plus I don’t want to contribute code for LLMs to use for “vibe coding”
Thanks Chris! I’m unsure of what the future will hold, but diving in face first.
Totally, and same! Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated by making something from nothing. Probably why I spent 20 years coding. 3D printing things I design gives me the same feeling 😎
Sometimes to begin a new chapter you need to let go of the past.
I just deleted the all of my public open source repositories from Github. Its time for a new career doing something different.
Not sure what, but giving myself a year to figure it out.
Excited for you Lydia! Congrats on the long tenure and amazing work in the 3D space and Modeler!
Thanks! It was printed on my Bambu X1C - the best 3D printer I’ve ever owned!

Yup, hopefully @bsky.app can add edit post soon!!

Designing a precise pen holder for my favorite pens (Sakura Pima Micron)… might try to get these fabricated in aluminum and anodized in black. #productdesign #render
This yo-yo thing / obsession is getting out of "hand" 😂
Happy Birthday Patricio!
Working on some metal shader live coding ideas for v inspired by some conversation w @charstiles.bsky.social - thanks to Lygia and Satin from @patricio.io and @rezaali.bsky.social

I give you my latest creation, the apple spinning beach ball of death yo-yo, made with valence.
Yo! Thank you 🙏🏽
