I do wonder if VRChat decides to implement personal overrides for users who are confident their PCs will be able to handle the workload. I do personally know one user who has to show everyone's avatars for cam ops during events.

Personaly I think vrc already has built in tools like avatar culling and filtering for the user side. So maybe this new feature is not necessary. But as I said let's wait and see how this plays out

To be fair, event hosts have every right to set avatar requirements for visitors. Other than that, I say just let it run for a while and see what happens.

This is why I try to keep my club worlds under 100MB, utilize baked lighting wherever possible, bake occlusion culling, and try to spread foot traffic as much as needed.

It's technically only one texture file. The rest are just empty materials that control the colors for the tubing, actuators, glowing eyes, retractable blades and endoskeleton. Only the armor is textured.

Already won my heart with that Steam Deck.
