Amulance - Feel the Pain (1989)

An old-school fuckin' speed/heavy metal gem outta... Illinois.

This one rips.
And the cover will rip AI's head off and shit down its neck.

Man, I still love GW despite this dumb shittery. What it is with getting old and losing yer fuckin' marbles. It is soon followed by or maybe it happens prior, but finding religion. Regardless, the two go hand in hand and out goes critical thinking.

Ironweed - Ironweed (2025)

Ain't nobody, that I've seen, mentioned this one other than Kman.

Rockin' grungey-stoner with plenty o' kick.
Rewind the tape indeed!

Progressive alternative (weird) Metal from the 80s/90s or however you wanna label them. More on the obscure side despite Phil wearing their shirt on the back of Vulgar.

Do you like Voivod or Thought Industry?

I picked this one up at a thrift on the weekend. I think someone who worked at a radio station dropped off a bunch and I was the lucky recipient. Good shit.

I think I'm back here and hopefully for good.
I'm looking for hard rock, metal and just good music conversation. If you're into that then I might be your guy. It's a fuckin' shit show over there...

Classic rock through a stoner lens. Outta Halifax, NS.

Heather Harris can definitely sing on top of those heavy grooves.

So, me and the lady watched and we're hooked. That said, I grew up around the Alberta oil patch and so a lot of this is familiar. Merci!

So, I'm spending Saturday listening to Godzillionaire and rebagging comics.

Anyone want to trade glam or stoner metal for comics?

There isn't much better in life than this Dirty Deeds album. I'd probably go with High Voltage, but Dirty Deeds isn't far behind for me.

I'd argue that Monster Magnet has yet to put out anything subpar. In fact, I love pretty much every damn thing they've done. Not a lot of bands with that catalog can say the same...

This beast, Last Patrol, from 2013 smokes.

My #1 artist this year according to Spot.

The track Black Sea is an excellent clash of vibes. You don't see it as often within tracks, but they go from dark to bright. The verses are very dark, but it brightens in the chorus and then goes rather quickly back to dark.

Fantastic stuff!
