Deia has a more ''human'' (well, elven) disguise through "Disguise Self". It's comical how unrecognizable she seems and how offensive the absence of horns is, even though it's literally the same face. I can see Gale being personally scandalized by their absence too.

i wrote this line as something Gale Dekarios said to Deia Stormborn and ended up nearly sobbing.
writing is an art of self-inflicted agony sometimes.

the things that i write in my story, the way gale dekarios expresses his love for deia, verbally and in small gestures, might ruin romance for me in general.
can only hope one day to find my own gale. for now, i'm just glad him and deia have each other.
