for the longest time I used my webcomic character Patrick in Red Dead Online because of how beautiful the game is, really wish R* treated the game so, so much better

I had to sadly remove Patrick because there's no secondary slot, but I got my finally bring in (human) Ari D. Wolf in the game <3

they're also charging you money for the tools to hack said games, too, like monthly subscription plans and all that stuff.

think of it like taking the first Sly Cooper game, jazzing it up real nice for the modern era, adding all tons of ridiculous content - some that belong or not, and charging $$

for context, people are hacking old pro-wrestling games on the PS2-era by adding in all-new content: wrestlers that weren't there before/considered, match types, QoL, etc. but are charging money for it.

i get wanting to be compensated but these should be passion projects, not side hustles

quit giving these people money. the original games were fine on their own, they really don't needed to be modded. let them stand on their own, as dated as something like Smackdown vs. RAW '05 on the PS2 was.

for that kind of money you can support the latest indie game on wrestling instead.

saw a post about how modders of old pro-wrestling games are now charging money for their glorified rom hack/modded tech.

why would you shell out money for this? this is like paying $100 for a very slightly edited WrestleMania text hack on the NES, or $200 for LJN's King of the Ring.
