Great question! We (@soccoglab.bsky.social) are interested in how humans respond to faces of people who are feeling sick with a contagious disease. Over several studies, we've discovered that children and adults recognize and avoid people who are sick just by looking at pictures of "sick faces."
Thanks, Willow! My work focuses on faces of people with acute contagious diseases (e.g., COVID-19). We’re always looking for more #SelfiesForScience if you or anyone you know is every feeling sick! umiami.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_...
#HiSciSky and #PsychSciSky 👋 I’m a 4th year doctoral student studying the development of social cognition from infancy to childhood. I’m interested in people’s perceptions of sick faces 🤒
