since I can’t use the regular font anymore, I think i’m gonna try something a little different and attempt to make my OWN font for my comics. never done it before and not sure how it’ll turn out but I think it would be cool to try it out

wait I can see dms again. i’m so confused 😭 I was hit by age verification for a single day and now it’s gone? I never put my ID in… it just sort of disappeared and now I can chat with people again. that’s good! but confusing. I just hope it lasts.

update: it has, in fact, fixed itself now that i’ve completely changed the banner image. it’s not ideal (especially considering the original image had no explicit nudity), but it’ll work fine for now. thanks to y’all that tried to help, btw 🫶

hate to keep ranting about this right now like it’ll do anything (I have food to make and a new compound miter saw to unbox. I really gotta get off my phone for my own sanity and to get anything done rn.) BUT. labeling me as an inappropriate adult account while also calling me a child is CRAZY work.

actually I don’t think it’s even letting me SEE those settings anymore, either that or I’m not great with tech and can’t find it but i’ve looked everywhere. just keeps saying some features are disabled for me. I never even had any of that stuff hidden though even back when I COULD access it.

weird how it seems to be blurred for me and not for others. who is that supposed to protect? me? the one that put the images there? 😐 it should fix itself soon hopefully.

just changed my banner a few minutes ago, it could already be fixed for others but it’s still blurred for me for some reason. now that I unfortunately had to change it, it should fix itself soon. unless you’re referring to the age verification, which in that case it’s just bc of where I live sadly

the age verification shit makes me so worried because how long until I can’t use bluesky at all? how long until none of us can? it would basically be the end of spacenudie, glow party, and all the other artists/people/projects out there that hate this. at least until it gets reversed (hopefully)

update: after two appeals, my profile picture and banner have surprisingly been un-blurred (for now, at least)!

I guess it’s time to find or make a new banner for my account. maybe it’ll let me reupload it. unrelated but I made a drink out of strawberries, oat milk, vanilla extract, cardamom, and honey and it is SO good

I do wonder what triggered it this time. hope my account wasn’t reported or something.

spring in the upper south is such a huge back and forth between hot and cold (85 F and 35 F in the same week) for a couple months, so here’s a couple doodles about it. our a/c (or maybe it’s the thermostat? not sure) is messing up and frankly I have never been more happy to own a box fan

it’s cool that they added new fonts, maybe I’ll use one of those. who knows. still irritating that I have to, in the middle of a chapter, completely change the font of one of my webcomics. oh well, the show goes on I suppose :/ time to go font searching.

aaahhh crap. I was right, Procreate Pocket had an update. and of COURSE the ONE font I use for nearly everything is one of only two fonts no longer available (crazy thing is I bet it would still work if I paid the $20). very unfortunate. guess I’ll be finding a new font for Valentine and Glow Party.

this is quite unfortunate. not spending $20 on a font tbh. hoping I can find some other solution to this because this really throws off/delays my comic work. also, those font sites have SO many ads holy shit. like it’s borderline disorienting how many ads those websites have.

oooh ok this sucks. tried multiple websites to redownload the same font I always use, but none of them seem to be the exact same one. the only place that seems to still have it is asking for $20. I understand fonts costing a bit of money especially if someone made it themself, but $20? 😭 damn.
