Hello Bluesky, I like Graham Platner

A screenshot of a tweet thread by Lakshya Jain (@lxeagle17). The main tweet reads: "FWIW the path forward for progressives is likely going to have to be on something people are broadly supportive of: preventing discrimination in hiring/housing. If you want to change public opinion, starting from favorable ground is important, even if it means ceding on sports."
He quotes a previous tweet stating that public opinion aligns with conservative views on most trans issues, accompanied by a stacked bar chart titled "How people feel about transgender policy issues." The chart displays polling data from "The Argument's national survey" (fielded Feb. 4-10, 2026) regarding support for national laws on specific policies:
 * Allow gender surgery for minors: 13% strongly support vs. 50% strongly oppose.
 * Allow puberty blockers for minors: 18% strongly support vs. 45% strongly oppose.
 * Prohibiting the teaching of gender identity in public elementary schools: 39% strongly support vs. 24% strongly oppose.
 * Require transgender people to use public restrooms corresponding with their birth sex: 39% strongly support vs. 22% strongly oppose.
 * Ban discrimination against transgender people in hiring and housing: 43% strongly support (plus 20% somewhat support) vs. 14% strongly oppose.
 * Require transgender K-12 athletes to compete with their birth sex: 47% strongly support vs. 15% strongly oppose.

Absolutely brain dead take. Trans people did start with employment, housing, and healthcare. There are cases dating back decades such as Smith v. Salem in 2004 and Glenn v Brumby in 2011! Many states passed anti discrimination laws well over a decade ago. He has no idea what he's talking about.

My sister being in the middle of basically a messy divorce between friends, an entire year after our parents split up is crazy work. She was really hit with that "Every January, you will be marred in a tempest of marital turmoil" curse.

>Boot up Street Fighter 6

>Get mad that my inputs keep getting eaten

>Get mad at ninjas and annoying spinning guys zoning me out

>Half of the characters I'm fighting were in the previous game

>They brought back the first villain for no reason

>Quit Mega Man 3 and start playing Street Fighter

Taking a ET detox because it's getting pretty toxic over there.
