Ahh I see. Well in this case, it’s more about the dynamics and style of which genre. Mine for example, I don’t push my progressive house songs to -5, meaning very loud, but I do this to my heavy brostep tracks. But the most important thing is the mixing. If the song is not asking you, don’t do it.
