Ye, my DMs are open. I got a bit of time before I actually gave to see them.

I understand why I need to see a psychiatrist considering I've not found one that takes my insurance & don't have a good example of history for my mental health, but I have a lot of documentation for my physical history & my PCP is very supportive. So I'm also confused as to why I'm seeing both.

I'll ask just in case.
Would suck to lose some back pay, but if it meant I'd have an easier time in the future I consider that worth it.

I figured I'd try and appeal once on my own and then go for a lawyer if I needed to apply a second time. I'll look into downloading an app and have it on while I'm there too. Can never be too careful. I'll also see if I can get any notes or records from them as well.

I was wondering if recording the session would be allowed. I figured at the very least I would be able to use it if things don't match up or if I end up having to hire a disability lawyer. Might help my case.

It’s my first time applying, & I’ve heard stories about docs twisting answers or writing things that weren’t said.

If you’ve been through this, do you have any advice on what I should expect?

Had my PT consultation today.
I'll be going to aquatic therapy Tues/Weds starting next week.
I also learned I’m hypermobile.
Anxiety drained me so I fell asleep, so no stream tonight.
SSI doc tomorrow.
Fingers crossed I don't get burnt out again & we can continue the Subathon!
