Themme Fatale takes a mirror selfie backstage at the club, wearing all red - a shiny bikini, clown collar, thigh high boots and a giant sparkly boa. They are squatting on a pile of dollar bills. Overlaid text is the article title βOn Compliance, and what an experiment from the 60s can tell us about Queer nightlife in 2025β

kind of related (aus rock band who extensively used a DX7) kind of unrelated (mondo rock, not mentals) - but - a DX7 used by mondo rock both on stage and in studio, with ROM carts of the presets, sold recently for like $650 AUD!
i'm glad you got it to work :)) yeah it seems that sometimes the juno gets a bit stuffy on some things, my one doesn't have that issue but it is very hit and miss on programming chord memory (normally requires a restart or two for me)
while im not The Unfinished, i recommend this guide to wrangle sysex with an alpha juno 2: llamamusic.com/mks50/mks-50...
i use windows and the program MIDI-OX worked for me, ive heard good things about Sysex Librarian for mac, just make sure the memory protect switch is set to OFF :))
The first digital photo of me - c. 1980 - taken on my dad's slow scan tv setup and piped into a Nascom II computer through a homebrew interface that my dad built and i programmed - and then printed on an Epson MX-80. All done in Z80 assembly code... #retrocomputing
