I’m grateful for the work of Tribal Nations and environmental activists in our region who’ve led on culvert replacement and watershed restoration & what that means for the future of salmon stocks.
Last August, I was in Alaska with my colleagues from the Natural Resources Committee — for many, their first trip to a salmon dependent community.
Last week, my team was in Belfair to celebrate the Sweetwater Creek Waterwheel Park ribbon cutting! I’m proud to submit this project for FY2027 Community Project Funding to help build ADA restrooms, parking, and utility infrastructure to help protect salmon habitat and support restoration efforts.

It’s not okay that our neighbors are struggling to afford their basic needs — housing, health care, child care — while our president spends billions on a war he chose to get us into.

Americans want to see an end to this war, our office continues to get calls from neighbors that are worried about the strength of our constitution — terrified that this President is going to cause us more and more danger and damage.

The American people want us to make their lives more affordable. 28,000 people in Washington state alone lost health care coverage because Republicans refused to extend the ACA tax credits.
The American people deserve us to stand up and fight for peace and prosperity here at home.

Survivors deserve justice, and the American people deserve the truth.
We won’t stop fighting to hold her and everyone involved accountable.
She can’t get out of a congressional subpoena just because she’s no longer at the Department of Justice. She must answer for her role in covering up the Epstein files, and overredacting the names of those connected to these crimes while releasing the names of survivors.

🚨Some Good News🚨
FEMA disaster assistance is now available for neighbors in Grays Harbor and Pierce Counties who were affected by the devastating flooding in December 2025.
Neighbors across my district are feeling the result of Elon Musk’s DOGE. Investments in federal programs that are serving our communities, like the Ocean Shores Food Bank, are declining and cuts to Medicaid are putting our hospitals and health centers at risk.
Pakistan may have brokered a temporary ceasefire, but this President’s actions will continue to put us in danger. It’s beyond time for his cabinet to stand up for the constitution and invoke the 25th amendment. (2/2)
Like many of my neighbors, I’m disturbed by Trump’s threats to kill, ‘a whole civilization.’ We cannot stand by while a President who’s clearly unfit for office tweets off war crimes. (1/2)
