Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."

In Minneapolis this afternoon—
Hundreds are streaming across the snow and ice into Powderhorn Park for a rally and march demanding ICE leave Minnesota.
It is bitterly cold. There are hardcore Midwesterners out here making their way in with trekking poles.
On Bluesky, the official app of sports, we are enjoying NBA coaches telling the truth about the killing of Renee Good
Double-fist punch
If Captain Kirk had met a Ferengi he would have killed it with a hammer
Here's the full moment of silence including a fan yelling "Go home, ICE"
Hundreds of people have packed into Chicago's Thalia Hall tonight for a community listening session on CPD collaboration with ICE/CBP.
Police district councillors who gathered petition signatures required to hold tonight's hearing are opening by thanking the community for showing out.
My anger at having to stand outside my kid’s school for two hours to ensure none of their classmates, parents, or teachers get kidnapped by my own government is only slightly tempered by the amazing outpouring of support from other parents and especially neighbors who stand against this bullshit.
Make it viral.
The way ICE officers approached the vehicle involved in today's shooting was counter to their training, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News. The official said ICE officers are trained: — never to approach a vehicle from the front; — to approach vehicles or possibly armed people in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire; — not to shoot at a moving vehicle; — only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death. ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.
This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.
This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.
I think they know this is bad. Really bad.
"WHOSE STREETS? OUR STREETS!"

Pure evil.
School has been cancelled tomorrow and Friday across the city of Minneapolis, because our federal government has made it unsafe for children here.
one billion percent this
It doesn't matter if it's illegal. No one will stop Trump or the US. So I guess the only thing to do is to point out that it's illegal on Twitter.
Ugh

Opinion | The grandchildren of immigrants are just as repugnant as the immigrants themselves. Some end up dedicating their lives to separating parents from children and sending innocent people to torture prisons.

College sports isn't amateur anymore. If you're enrolled in school you should be able to play.

I asked you to go to the Green Day concert. You said you never heard of them.
Have you never watched March Madness?
How is the Group of 5 a loser when they got 2 teams in?
That's why I said this was a generality not specifically talking about those two teams. So that I wouldn't get people giving this response.
I mean head to head is usually a tiebreaker. If you're straight up better there's no tiebreaker.
(Speaking in generalities. Not saying ND is better than Miami this year or vice versa)
